Pharrell Williams used Louis Vuitton’s menswear show as a listening party. On Tuesday (Jan. 20) in Paris, the house’s men’s creative director played four unreleased songs as the soundtrack to his Fall/Winter 2026 collection, per Billboard, including cuts from A$AP Rocky, Quavo, Jackson Wang with Pusha T, and John Legend.
Legend’s “Pray for Ya” opened the show. Wang’s “Sex God,” with Pusha T, followed, and Rocky’s “Disturbing the P” included a joke at the expense of Papa Doc, the rival from 8 Mile, Billboard noted. Quavo’s “Hit-A-Lik” is the horn-heavy one, and Billboard heard echoes of the Migos’ “Stir Fry,” another Pharrell production. “Gotta do it for the trench, because we all came from nothing,” Quavo raps. Billboard reports he has been flying to Louis Vuitton’s headquarters to work with Pharrell on his next solo album.
The show opened a celebration year for the house’s monogram, which turns 130, according to the AP. Guests encircled a grassy runway around a glass-walled house, a set that was part bedroom, part display box, where models kept entering and leaving like characters in a film. A gospel choir and a full orchestra played live from the balconies. Complex says the house, called the Drophaus, was designed with the Japanese firm Not a Hotel and filled with furniture Pharrell designed himself.

The front row was a music lineup of its own. Revolt counted Usher, Future, Chris Brown, SZA, John Legend, Quavo and Skepta among the guests, with Kai Cenat there too. Pusha T walked the runway, and GOT7’s BamBam made his runway debut, per the AP.

The clothes were quieter than the guest list. The AP described a 1970s-ease palette of grays, browns and cream, broken by bubblegum pink, baby blue and emerald, with bows, jabot collars and a monogrammed puffer as the anniversary hero. Highsnobiety called it “an understated Louis Vuitton,” a collection of “smart fits, practical pieces, and timeless drapes” under the banner “Timeless.” Complex was less convinced. Its verdict on the clothes: “this appeared to be very safe.”
Both takes land on the same point: Pharrell’s work at the house, nearly three years in, is about craft and accessories, with the music doing the loud part. He had a busy week coming. Revolt reported he would receive the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective Honors on Jan. 29, then show up at the Grammys in matching dusty rose with Clipse. The next time he soundtracked a Louis Vuitton runway with fresh songs, Quavo was back and joined by Lil Baby.
