Zendaya turned up to Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week finale in a coat she had already worn once. The white ruffled jacket on Tuesday (Oct. 6) was the one from The Odyssey’s Paris premiere, The Zoe Report spotted, and this time she wore it with a tank top and jeans next to stylist Law Roach. She also showed off the cropped pixie cut she debuted at the Emmys in September, Entertainment Now noted.

The room around her was a Louis Vuitton roll call. Emma Stone, another house ambassador, wore a royal blue skirt suit, and Saoirse Ronan, Chloë Grace Moretz, Ana de Armas, Sophie Turner, Jaden Smith, Keri Russell, Chloë Sevigny and the Haim sisters were there, along with French first lady Brigitte Macron. For music fans, the headline names were LISA and Stray Kids’ Felix, both house ambassadors, who posed together outside the Louvre, according to Khaosod English.

LISA wore a low-cut ruffled knit top with purple shoulder detailing, a black leather miniskirt and a Louis Vuitton bag. She arrived days after the MTV VMAs, where, Entertainment Now noted, she performed “SaWaDiKa” and became the first K-pop soloist to win Best Pop. After the show, she reunited with Thai actress Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund at the house’s after-party. We covered her VMAs night in our red carpet report.

The set was part of the story. Entertainment Now described Ghesquière’s Cour Carrée as a futuristic racetrack lined with green cars, and the house called the installation a vision of a “future in suspension.” Ghesquière told editors after the show that the staging was meant to evoke a modern urban jungle and the chaos of daily life, set against the lightness of the clothes, as the South China Morning Post reported.

I wanted to express a sensation of simplicity and a feeling of purity with this collection.

The collection delivered it. The Zoe Report described a celebration of space, time and shape, with architectural forms, softly draped silhouettes and graphic pattern play. SCMP says the first looks were pastel dresses and separates that “gently caressed the body,” followed by streamlined outfits in jersey that billowed as models walked at breakneck speed. Ghesquière’s caveat: making things extremely light is, he said, “extremely complex.”

The show closed Paris Fashion Week, which ran from Sept. 28 to Oct. 6. Chanel had taken the Grand Palais the night before, and we cover it in our Chanel report. The week’s other big front-row moments are in our Paris Fashion Week roundup.
