Tommy Hilfiger staged his Spring 2027 show in the hotel he used to call home, and it ended with a pop star in a necktie. Hilfiger lived at the hotel for years, Hypebae notes, and on Thursday (Sept. 10) he turned its lobby into a runway, with a live orchestra and a front row that included 21 Savage, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Camila Cabello.
Gigi Hadid opened in oversized red pleated trousers, a tan blazer and a navy bucket hat, and Romeo Beckham walked the final look. Then Slayyyter closed the show in a red top, cropped shorts, a necktie and black knee-high boots, The Zoe Report says. The FADER has her singing “UNKNOWN LOVERZ” and “Dance” live.
This season, The Plaza is our playground, where Tommy icons feel remixed and refined for today.

The soundtrack was live too: Matt Jones and the Matt Jones Orchestra played classic rock-and-roll hits down the lobby. The clothes were the house’s prep staples, rewired: color-blocked rugby dresses, Oxford shirts, chinos and tartan blazers, with trousers cut into hot pants, button-downs worn backward and a ’90s-style skate sneaker beside the penny loafers and boat shoes. Hypebae called the theme “Plaza Prep.”

21 Savage sat with Cabello, Jisoo, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jordyn Woods and several athletes, Complex reported. Kate Moss sat with Patrick Schwarzenegger and Edward Enninful, and Victoria Monét, Coco Jones, Fireboy DML and Cat Burns were also in the room. Girls’ Generation attended too, per Hypebae. Hilfiger took his own walk with a Samoyed. After the show, 21 Savage went on to Public School’s presentation with Carmelo Anthony.
