Veronica Leoni brought a proper band to Calvin Klein’s Spring 2027 show. On Friday (Sept. 11), the runway at New York’s Terminal Warehouse was scored by producer Kid Harpoon, with artist Laurie Anderson and Solange featured, according to the house’s release. The FADER listed it among the soundtracks musicians took over at New York Fashion Week.
The set did its own work. The venue is a block-long brick building completed in 1891, and three floor sculptures by Walter De Maria lined the runway, so guests could walk among them. Leoni’s release frames the whole show as a lesson in subtraction. “American minimalism was a discipline of removal,” she says, and “Calvin drew from that and turned it toward the body.”
Take everything away. What is left is desire.

The clothes followed the rule: coats, shirts, tailoring, trousers, pencil skirts and slips, cut longer and narrower or cinched at the waist. Slip and T-shirt dresses were reworked as full bias-cut evening dresses, and the palette set white and black against scarlet, bright yellow, royal blue, cherry and light citron, plus a check said to draw on Georgia O’Keeffe’s wardrobe. Accessories ran to metal headbands, pointed scarves and enlarged triangular bags.

In the front row, Rosalía and Teyana Taylor sat together, and Sadie Sink, Pamela Anderson and Tate McRae were also there, per The Impression’s gallery. Rosalía was front row at Dior in Paris on Sept. 29, a night our Paris Fashion Week roundup covers.
