Bad Bunny ended the world tour for Debí Tirar Más Fotos where it started to make sense: at home. “Cerramos en Casa,” two nights on Aug. 22 and 23 at San Juan's Hiram Bithorn Stadium, was added to the itinerary with barely a week's notice, and it turned into something more than a victory lap. Per Latin Times, he used the stand to address Puerto Rico's power cuts and water shortages directly from the stage.
According to Primera Hora, the show opened with a short film shot on the Dos Hermanos bridge about the state of the country, then the intro to “La Mudanza.” Midway through, he stopped the song to talk. Complex, quoted by Latin Times, has the line that framed the weekend:
What I want to give you today is hope and strength to fight.

He told the crowd he couldn't bring water to people without it or electricity to those who lose it every day, and he answered critics who said a concert was the wrong response to the crisis. “Ustedes no me necesitan, yo los necesito a ustedes,” he said, meaning that the fans don't need him, he needs them. Later, per Latin Times, he told the audience: “There's nothing like being home. Thank you, Puerto Rico, for being here.”
What else happened
The night leaned on nostalgia and homegrown sound: a cuatro tribute to the late songwriter Roy Brown, a salsa-flavored rework of “El Club,” and runs through “Tití Me Preguntó,” “Neverita” and “Si Veo a Tu Mamá” with Dei V, plus Farruko, Arcángel, Ñengo Flow and DJ Luian as guests. The tour's frog mascot, Concho, also made his usual appearance. Opening act Chuwi used its song “Tierra” to raise the same issues and put a message on the screens urging fans to attend a Sunday protest against a luxury development in Cabo Rojo, called Proyecto Esencia.

Tickets went on sale Aug. 19 through PRTicket, and Latin Times says both nights sold out in under six hours, after more than a million people reportedly joined the online queue. It also says that San Juan's municipal police put the real turnout near 30,000 a night, lower than some pre-show estimates.
Why it matters
This was the tour's real finish, not its first planned one. The worldwide leg ended in Brussels on July 22, and the Puerto Rico dates were an extra, as Rolling Stone and Complex reported when they were announced on Aug. 17. Billboard says the run began Nov. 21, 2025 in Santo Domingo and is already the highest-grossing tour ever by a male Latin artist, at $467.5 million, with Bad Bunny also becoming the first Latin artist to reach $1 billion in career ticket sales in June.
What's next: nothing is announced. The album behind it won Album of the Year at the Grammys, and a legal win for the artist came just after the tour, when a judge reversed course in the reggaeton lawsuit.
