Elena Rose has spent years writing songs that stadiums sing back. Now she'll finally get to hear it from the stage. Karol G announced Tuesday (July 14) that the Venezuelan singer will open 10 dates of the U.S. leg of her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, Rose's first time playing stadiums in the States, Rolling Stone reports.
Rose is finishing the European leg of her own Alma tour, which wraps in Paris on July 21, Billboard says, and will join Karol G on opening night of the U.S. run at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday, July 24. She'll also open the second Chicago show, July 25, and shows in Las Vegas (Aug. 7), Los Angeles (Aug. 14), Boston (Sept. 12), East Rutherford, N.J. (Sept. 17), Atlanta (Sept. 24), Miami (Oct. 2), Tampa (Oct. 9) and Dallas (Oct. 15), per Complex.
I’m so grateful that Karol and her team have welcomed me with so much love and that I’ll have the opportunity to share my message with so many people. With everything that’s happening in the world right now, people really need a moment to reconnect and to enjoy life. I hope these nights remind us to hold on to one another a little tighter.

A songwriter's songwriter
Rose broke through as a hit writer, with credits for Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and Bad Bunny, including his Rauw Alejandro hit “Party,” per Billboard. She also co-wrote Becky G and Karol G's “MAMIII,” which started her friendship with the headliner. Her own songs have followed, among them “Cosita Linda” and “Me Lo Merezco,” and the 2026 EP No Quiero Que Se Acabe Este Bendito Verano with guests including Manuel Turizo on “La Semana.”
Karol G personally invited her, Rose told Rolling Stone, and the two have known each other a while. “There’s always been mutual respect between us,” she said. In Billboard's Spanish-language interview she said it feels like touring with a friend.

She's also carrying a country with her. Rose, whose music includes songs about Venezuela such as “Caracas En El 2000,” is aware of representing a country Rolling Stone describes as recovering from recent devastating earthquakes.
Venezuela isn’t just where my family comes from — it’s part of who I am.

Why it matters
The tour is already one of the year's biggest. It has sold more than 2 million tickets across the U.S., Canada, Europe and Latin America within four days of going on sale, per a Live Nation release cited by Complex, and it grew from 39 to 63 dates after Karol G became the first female Latin artist to headline Coachella in April. Becky G opens 10 dates and Greeicy three, so the bill doubles as a showcase for powerhouse women in Latin pop.
What's next: Chicago on July 24, then Rose takes her message to 10 stadiums. She says there's “a lot of new music coming,” and that it reflects who she is “more than ever.”
