Opium’s long-teased joint album might finally be close. 00Twinz, the joint record from Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely, is “set to drop this month,” Complex wrote on Friday (Oct. 9).
The date attached to it is Oct. 30. Complex Music posted it in August, and the interviewer put it to Ken for his July cover story. His answer: “That’s months away. Because we work hard.” In the same interview he said the album was “Like 50” percent done. No cover art or tracklist has been shared yet, so treat the date as reported, not locked.

The holdup has never been a shortage of songs. Last November, Lone told Complex the pair had been recording constantly, and that they have “thousands” of songs in the vault.
That’s the hardest part about why it hasn’t come out yet, because me and Ken got as many songs together as we probably got by ourselves over so many years.

They just spent a weekend proving the demand. Opium took over ComplexCon’s 10th anniversary in Los Angeles, and Complex, which puts on the convention, had both of them on the bill at Crypto.com Arena. Ken headlined the first night, Saturday, Oct. 3, and opened his set by bringing out Playboi Carti for “deaf note.” Lone played the second night ahead of Carti, and “Catch a Kill” got so wild that the barrier gave way.

The chemistry isn’t new. Ken, whose More Chaos went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2025, and Lone, whom Complex calls “the dark horse of Opium,” have been trading verses for years: on “VETERAN,” the back-and-forth closer of Lone’s 2022 album No Stylist, and on “money & sex,” from 2023’s If Looks Could Kill, where Complex says “their chemistry shines brightest.” Hear it below.
Both have kept busy on their own. Ken’s 2026 brought Xperiment and its companion tape, Cartunez. Lone’s latest single, “MONSTER,” is the first taste of his next solo album, Drop Dead Gorgeous.
The twins are running short on year, though. Last November, when Complex asked whether the album might still arrive in 2025, Lone was blunt. “Hell nah,” he said. “2026, for sure. 2025 over with, twin.”
