2hollis’ next album, Pirouette, is out Nov. 11 (yes, 11/11) on Interscope. He announced it on Tuesday, Sept. 22, with a cover hand-drawn by Yoshitaka Amano, the Final Fantasy and Vampire Hunter D illustrator, and three of its 16 songs are already out.

The rest he’s keeping close. For most of the past year the album was hinted at on a side Instagram, @pirouettepirouettepirouette, which he described to i-D as “both and neither” a public finsta and a launch pad. “If everything was on the main page, it wouldn’t be too fun, would it?” he said. Here’s everything that’s confirmed so far.

When does Pirouette come out?

Wednesday, Nov. 11, through Interscope, the label behind his 2025 major-label debut, Star. A midweek date is unusual for a big release, but 11/11 suits an artist whose world, as i-D put it, is full of sacred geometry and “repeated numerical omens.”

What’s on the tracklist?

Sixteen songs, and only three titles are public. On Apple Music’s pre-order listing, “Sex” sits at No. 7, “Hurt” at No. 8 and “Warhorse” at No. 12. The other 13 slots are still placeholders, and none of the announcements so far have named any guests.

Who made the cover?

Amano drew it by hand: a pale, blond figure in black, 2hollis recast as an Amano hero, cradles a sleeping woman in a red dress while birds and skull-faced spirits drift around them on a white ground. It’s a long way from the usual rap-album photo shoot, and Amano says it took no translation at all.

He felt very close to the kind of character I have always drawn—as though he had stepped directly out of one of my paintings.

“Rather than having to adapt my style to fit him, I was able to portray him naturally within my own world,” Amano added, per Clash.

What has 2hollis said about it?

That it’s a love album. “This is the first album I made where I felt I had really experienced love, and throughout the album was experiencing love,” he told i-D for its Mother Issue cover story, published online Sept. 15. He didn’t name anyone, but i-D notes he’s been dating the artist and model Sirena Warren. “She has influenced this album,” he said.

It’s also the most layered thing he’s made. “The album felt like creating a Renaissance painting. Some of these project files are, like, 300 tracks,” he said. On Star, he told i-D, the biggest session ran to maybe 50.

Which singles are out?

Three. “Hurt” (July 22) opened the era with a dark, industrial-leaning cut and a video he directed and edited himself; per i-D, he also engineered, produced and mixed it.

“Sex” (Sept. 18) swung back to bright, EDM-sized pop, with a video directed by and starring 2hollis and Warren, Stereogum reported.

“Warhorse” (Sept. 25) is the one fans had been chasing. He first played it live at Bonnaroo last year and a scrappy version circulated for a while; the finished four-minute track samples DJ Clap’s 2012 “Don’t Tell,” per Stereogum.

Is there a tour?

Not yet. No Pirouette tour has been announced, though Melodic caught him liking a fan’s Instagram comment that read “LIKE THIS IF A TOUR IS COMING.” What is confirmed: he’s on the bill for Camp Flog Gnaw at the Dodger Stadium grounds in Los Angeles on Nov. 14–15, three days after release.

How did he get here?

Born Hollis Frazier-Herndon, he grew up around the business: his mother co-founded Skrillex’s OWSLA label and his father is Tortoise drummer John Herndon, Pitchfork notes. He was producing as Drippysoup in high school, then put out White Tiger (2022), 2 (2023) and boy (2024), the year he opened for Ken Carson. Star reached No. 11 on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart, and the run behind it brought sold-out North American and European headline tours and first sets at Coachella and Lollapalooza. He’s now one of the names running the underground in 2026.

Pirouette is out Nov. 11. Until then, he’d rather the music do the explaining. “The most powerful part of music is you don’t need to explain anything,” he told i-D. “Music explains itself.”
