Grand Theft Auto VI's music rollout has finally produced music. On Thursday (Sept. 17), Atlantic Records and Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-song collection that arrives Nov. 19, the same day as the game, and put six of its songs on streaming. They span a Daft Punk-produced Travis Scott track, a Yung Lean and Future song over a Metro Boomin beat, a Rolling Stones guitarist covering a 1961 blues standard, and a PinkPantheress team-up with an Argentine duo.
What came out today?
Six singles, per Pitchfork and Billboard:
Travis Scott, “RHYNO” — produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk. Travis Scott had teased his involvement earlier, per Complex.

Yung Lean, “That's It” (feat. Future and Metro Boomin) — Complex calls it “the perfect night cruising track.”
“Sexy Magic” — a five-way credit: PinkPantheress, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Fred again.. and the French DJ Etienne de Crécy.
Morgan Wallen, “The Last Thing You Need” — a new song on the soundtrack.
Rauw Alejandro, “Macacoa 2000” — from the reggaeton star.
Keith Richards, “Bright Lights, Big City” — his take on Jimmy Reed's 1961 classic.
What does it sound like?
Rolling Stone's Richards review is the most detailed. Where Reed slurred and let his voice tremble over a medium-tempo shuffle, Richards plays the guitar “with a little more force” and affects “something of a Mississippi-via-Dartford drawl,” and he plays the harmonica part straight where Reed soloed. Richards, Rolling Stone adds, has always sung his blues songs with a vocal quiver that owes a debt to Reed.
The other end of the album is the crossover cut. “Sexy Magic” puts Argentina's CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, one day after their seven Latin Grammy nominations, alongside PinkPantheress and Fred again... Yung Lean's cut gives the Swedish cloud-rap veteran a Metro Boomin canvas and a Future guest verse. (He later performed at the VMAs; see his big year.)
Why does GTA's music matter?
The series has always treated its radio as a cast member. The FADER notes the timing, 13 years to the day since Grand Theft Auto V was released, and the tradition of curated stations and original music, from Dr. Dre loosies to Tyler, the Creator's 2013 sleeper “Garbage.” Complex lists a few of *GTA V*'s station hosts: Big Boy, Bootsy Collins, Kenny Loggins, Danny Brown and Skepta, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Flying Lotus, The Alchemist and Frank Ocean.
Billboard says the new songs are designed to capture the energy of Vice City and Leonida, the game's fictional setting, and to continue the franchise's habit of introducing musical subcultures to a global audience. The soundtrack will launch alongside the game's in-game radio stations and score.
What's next?
The rest of the album lands Nov. 19. More names were already coming: the radio hosts were revealed in October, including Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey and Slayer, and Cardi B and Fuerza Regida joined the album the week after. As for the Rolling Stones' Richards, Rolling Stone points out that the band has no 2026 touring plans, though he told Uncut that “I do see the possibility of us doing a residency somewhere.”
