Cardi B’s song for Grand Theft Auto VI has a title that reads like a dare: “Don’t Chart.” It landed Friday (Oct. 9) alongside Fuerza Regida’s “Suzuki,” the newest previews of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the 34-song original soundtrack Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records are releasing with the game on Nov. 19.
Cardi’s own promo was two words long. “Run it up!” she told fans on Instagram, per Complex. NME heard “a swaggering, playful rap track.” Listen below.
“Suzuki” is the curveball. NME called it “a groovy trap-infused folk ballad,” which suits a band that keeps pushing regional Mexican music into new places. Fuerza Regida, the San Bernardino group led by singer Jesús Ortiz Paz, is on the second leg of its This Is Our Dream tour, and on Tuesday (Oct. 6) the promoter Ocesa announced a record 10 straight 2027 nights for the band at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes.
Range is the whole pitch. Rockstar promises “a genre-defying roster of the most exciting artists in the world,” and the first six songs, released Sept. 17, backed it up: Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” produced by Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo; Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin; a “Sexy Magic” summit of CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy; plus Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen and Rauw Alejandro.

The album is separate from the game’s radio. Those stations, revealed a day earlier with hosts including Bad Bunny and Lana Del Rey, play existing records, from Slayer’s “Raining Blood” to Loretta Lynn. Everything on The Album is new.
