Carly Rae Jepsen is taking her double album on the road, and the tour is full of firsts. The Day and Night Tour 2027, announced Thursday (Oct. 1), starts April 15 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton and ends May 29 at MTELUS in Montreal. In between are her first headlining shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, and Madison Square Garden in New York, Rolling Stone reports.

That is 26 cities in total, Pitchfork notes: the tour begins and ends in her native Canada, with 24 shows across April and May in between. Jepsen announced it on Instagram with a typically cheerful note. “WE GO HARD IN THIS FAMILY!” she wrote. “Can’t wait to see you all this Spring for the Day and Night Tour 2027!”

A presale starts at 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday (Oct. 6), for which fans can register through Live Nation, and the general sale follows on Thursday (Oct. 8), Billboard said.

The tour supports Day and Night, Jepsen’s eighth studio album, a 24-track double LP split into two 12-song halves that came out in September. It debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard 200 and was led by the singles “On Wires,” “After All,” “Don’t Leave Me on the Dance Floor” and “Motivation.” Rolling Stone’s review called it her “most experimental and exhilarating work.” Watch the video for “Versailles,” a Sofia Coppola-inspired party scene directed by Kanya Iwana, below.

When the album arrived, Jepsen described the mood she was after in an Instagram post. “White walls, terracotta tiles, a view of the sea…,” she wrote. “I couldn’t love a project more. It marks the most beautiful chapter of my life to date and it means so much to me to finally share it.”

It joins Remi Wolf’s 2027 run and the first festival lineups of 2027 on a calendar that is filling up fast. Jepsen has a second project waiting after it: she is writing the music and lyrics for a 10 Things I Hate About You musical with producer Ethan Gruska. Pitchfork says it is headed to Broadway next year, and Rolling Stone gives an opening date of Aug. 17.
