Teyana Taylor Is Reportedly Getting a Third Jordan Collab, and It’s the Air Jordan 16

Teyana Taylor is reportedly picking one of Jordan Brand’s less obvious silhouettes for her next collaboration. According to KicksFinder, as reported by Sole Retriever on Oct. 5, the singer, model and Oscar-nominated actor has an Air Jordan 16 SP on the way for Summer 2027. It would be her third project with the brand.

Treat it as a report, not an announcement. HotNewHipHop notes that Jordan Brand hasn’t confirmed anything, and no images, style code or color story have appeared.

The history is why people are watching. Her last pair was the “Concrete Rose” Air Jordan 3, a green and red colorway with a cement gray midsole, which landed alongside her One Battle After Another run, Sole Retriever says. According to House of Heat, as relayed by Sneakz & Beatz, that shoe and an earlier Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 were built around her “A Rose From Harlem” concept. HotNewHipHop adds that each release has had a story behind it, with roses and her Harlem roots at the center.

The silhouette is an interesting pick. The Air Jordan 16 has long been an overlooked model, HotNewHipHop argues, but it has picked up momentum: the recent “Free the Youth” and “Black Pack” retros sold out almost immediately. A collaborator with a clear point of view could extend that run.
