Jung Kook did not just model for Calvin Klein this time. The BTS singer helped design a capsule with the brand he has represented for years, announced Monday (May 18) as “Jung Kook for Calvin Klein.” It is his first fashion collaboration, and the idea behind it is motorcycles.
WWD, which had the exclusive, reported that Jung Kook weighed in on everything from custom denim washes to hidden embroidery patterns. The collection carries a special logo, CKJK, and its staples include a 1990s trucker jacket, baggy low-rise jeans, graphic tees, sweatshirts and a racer jacket. Complex counted 20 men’s and women’s styles built on the brand’s underwear and denim foundations, with distressed details and racing-stripe accents.

The rider theme is his. “Jung Kook was involved throughout the entire creative process, from the initial concept discussions through to the final design details,” WWD wrote, adding that the whole collection “is rooted in Jung Kook’s love for motorcycles.” In a statement to Complex, he put it in his own words: “This capsule feels authentic to my style and my love of riding and is a meaningful way to shape something lasting through design and storytelling.”

Alasdair McLellan shot the campaign, a cinematic, biker-themed piece about movement and freedom, with photographs and trailers. Calvin Klein’s statement describes the pairing as “two cultural forces” at “full power.”
It matters because the capsule lands in the middle of BTS’s busiest stretch in years. Billboard noted that the group’s first full-length album in five years, ARIRANG, spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and that five stadium shows at Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium close out May before the tour moves on to Busan. A capsule built on rider cool is a natural companion for that run.
David Savman, Calvin Klein’s global brand president, framed it as “a more personal side of the partnership.” For another Calvin Klein music crossover, see Solange and Laurie Anderson at its SS27 show, and for BTS’s year, the comeback broadcast.
