A tuba, a requinto and a tololoche just played stadiums across the U.S., and the numbers are in. Fuerza Regida’s first U.S. stadium tour grossed $53.2 million and sold 369,000 tickets across nine sold-out shows, according to Billboard Boxscore.

The figures arrive with the San Bernardino band’s Billboard cover story, published Friday (Oct. 9). The This Is Our Dream Tour opened at San Diego’s Petco Park in June and closed its stadium leg at Citi Field in Queens in August, where the band brought out 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Bobby Shmurda, Shoreline Mafia’s Fenix Flexin and J Balvin.

Billboard calls it the first U.S. stadium tour ever by a regional Mexican group, and says it lifted the band into a tier of the live business usually held by global pop stars and legacy rock acts. “It’s not just a tour,” rhythm guitarist Khrystian Ramos told the magazine. “It’s showing everybody what’s possible.”

Fuerza didn’t have to become something different to play stadiums. They got there by being themselves.

The show itself is a time machine. On screen, a black pickup truck styled after the Back to the Future DeLorean carries the band through its past, present and imagined future, while the five musicians play the traditional instruments that got them there. “To see a tuba [onstage] in an actual stadium — especially for our generation — is really cool,” tuba player José “Pelón” García said.

The stadiums cap a run of records. Their 2025 album 111XPANTIA debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the highest-charting Spanish-language album ever by a duo or group, and the band counts more than 35 billion career streams and three No. 1s on Hot Latin Songs. They just added “Suzuki” to Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, too.

Singer Jesús Ortiz Paz, better known as JOP, is also building a label. His Street Mob Records, launched in 2018, is home to Chino Pacas, Calle 24, Armenta, Chuyín and Clave Especial. “If I’m going to sign somebody, it’s because I want you to be bigger than me,” he told Billboard. As for new music, the team will only say the next album is coming soon. Billboard reports it’s rumored to be titled 2032, and JOP talks like he already lives there. “We’re already in 2032,” he told Billboard. “We’re six years ahead.”

One thing could slow them down. Fuerza is in an ongoing legal fight with Rancho Humilde, its label home since 2018: the label says the band broke its contract with unauthorized features and outside deals, while the band accuses Rancho of withholding royalties. In July, a federal judge let the band’s core claim proceed, that California’s seven-year rule, the same law at the center of Summer Walker’s fight with Interscope, may mean its exclusive obligations to Rancho have expired. He hasn’t ruled on it yet. JOP declined to discuss the legal specifics, saying only: “Él que nada debe, nada teme” (“He who has nothing to hide has nothing to fear”).

The calendar is full. The tour’s second leg, in amphitheaters and arenas, began Oct. 3 and runs into early November, ending at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre. On Oct. 20 the band does a Superstar Q&A at Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami Beach and headlines the Billboard En Vivo show that night. On Oct. 22 they receive the Billboard Vanguard Award and perform at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, airing at 8 p.m. ET on Telemundo and Peacock, where they’re finalists in 12 categories. Then comes a record 10-show run at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes, from Jan. 28 to Feb. 7, 2027.

None of it reads like a finish line to JOP. “I want [us] to become the biggest artist in the world,” he said.
