In 2023, on “First Person Shooter,” Drake rapped that he was “one away from Michael.” As of Tuesday (May 26), he is one past him. “Janice STFU,” from Iceman, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Drake’s 14th chart-topper and the most by any solo male artist in the chart’s 67-year history. Michael Jackson had 13.

The week was bigger than one song. According to Billboard, Drake placed a record 42 songs on the chart dated May 30, passing the 37 Morgan Wallen charted for a week last May. Forty of them were debuts, also a record. Nine landed in the top 10, extending his all-time top 10 total to 90, and he became the first act to pass 400 career Hot 100 entries. All 42 come from the three albums he dropped on May 15.

“Janice STFU” arrived with 40.7 million official streams in the U.S. between May 15 and 21, the second-biggest streaming week of 2026 behind only Bad Bunny’s “DtMF,” which drew 43 million after his Super Bowl LX halftime show. It also tops the Streaming Songs chart. Drake foreshadowed the milestone on the Iceman cover, which shows him in Jackson’s famed autographed, crystal-studded glove, XXL notes.

The albums chart told the same story two days earlier. Billboard announced on Sunday (May 24) that Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour take Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the Billboard 200, making Drake the first act to hold the top three at once and the first to debut at Nos. 1 to 3 in the same week. Iceman opened with 463,000 equivalent album units, 449,000 of them from streaming (about 462.2 million on-demand streams) and 13,000 from pure album sales. Habibti started with 114,000 and Maid of Honour with 110,000.

It is the biggest R&B/hip-hop week of the year and the second-largest album week of 2026 overall. Iceman is Drake’s 15th No. 1 album, which ties Taylor Swift for the most by a solo act; only the Beatles, with 19, have more.

The sweep did not clear out everyone else. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” gave up the top spot on the Hot 100 but held at No. 5, and Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide slipped to No. 4 after three weeks at No. 1. Further down, the rapper Lucki earned his first top 10 album when Dr*gs R Bad debuted at No. 9.
