Olivia Dean, Limp Bizkit, KATSEYE and Fontaines D.C. Will Make Their India Debuts at Lollapalooza Mumbai

A nu-metal band, a post-punk band, a Grammy-winning British soul singer and a global girl group walk into a Mumbai racecourse. Lollapalooza India announced its 2027 lineup on Thursday (Sept. 3), with Olivia Dean, Limp Bizkit, KATSEYE and Fontaines D.C. on top and all four playing their first shows in India, according to Spin.

The festival returns to Mahalaxmi Race Course on Jan. 23–24, 2027, for its fifth edition. It is produced by C3 Presents and the Indian ticketing platform BookMyShow, per Pollstar. The announcement describes a bill “built on curiosity and collision, spanning nu-metal, post-punk, electronic, hip-hop, jazz and R&B, with every stage offering a new world to discover.”

Below the headliners sit 5 Seconds of Summer, St. Vincent, Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello, Rachel Chinouriri, Ecca Vandal, Alain Johannes and Police drummer Stewart Copeland, who is playing with his frequent collaborator Ricky Kej. Indian acts on the bill include the folk guitarist Aditya Gadhvi, the fusion veterans Indian Ocean and the Rajasthani ensemble The Manganiyar Seduction, mxdwn reports, citing Forbes.

The 2027 bill is a bet on momentum. Dean, 27, has had a breakthrough year on the road, on radio and on streaming, and Lollapalooza India is her first announced show of 2027. Her 2025 album The Art of Loving is a front-runner for several top Grammy awards, Spin notes. Fontaines D.C. arrive on the back of a new record, Dopamine Chamber, due Oct. 16 on XL Recordings.

KATSEYE are the other draw. The HYBE x Geffen group kicked off their first headline world tour in Dublin this week, and mxdwn says they will play India as their current active lineup of four of six members. Limp Bizkit, meanwhile, bring a catalogue that includes “Break Stuff,” “Rollin’” and “Nookie.”

The festival has a growing audience to match. The 2026 edition drew its biggest crowd yet, with Linkin Park’s debut set pulling the largest audience for a single performance since Lollapalooza India launched in 2023, according to Spin. The brand is also staging its 2027 editions in South America, where Travis Scott and Charli xcx headline.

Dean’s 2026 dates wind down on Sept. 27 at the first Ocean Way festival in Santa Monica, then run through a six-show October swing across Australia and New Zealand. Mumbai is her first announced show of 2027, and one of the first pieces of a 2027 festival circuit that is already taking shape.
