FC Barcelona will walk out for El Clásico against Real Madrid on Oct. 25 with Tyler, the Creator’s GOLF logo across the chest where Spotify’s name usually sits. The club announced the shirt on Thursday (Oct. 15). Barça Femení wear it first, in a Liga F match the day before.
What’s new is how much control he got. Spotify has been putting artists on Barcelona’s shirt since 2022, a run that began with Drake, but Tyler is the first to be handed the entire audiovisual and graphic campaign, FC Barcelona says. He directed the imagery himself, Inside World Football adds.
Every jersey takeover we’ve done has pushed us somewhere new, but this one feels different. Tyler brings a distinct creative world to the collaboration, extending far beyond the jersey.

The clothes carry GOLF WANG’s colors and its humor. Nike’s release counts 11 pieces in the Nike x FC Barcelona x Spotify x GOLF WANG collection. The club lists a bomber jacket, a retro tracksuit, an all-over leopard-print set, tees, sweatshirts, a beanie and a collaboration scarf, and Hypebae adds a letterman jacket in a retro palette of teal, burgundy, brown, blue, black and white. A run of 1,899 match-quality shirts, a nod to the club’s founding year, was made, plus 11 signed by Tyler.

Barcelona gets a party out of it. Nike has turned an address in the Gothic Quarter into (The) Creator’s Àgora, open Oct. 15 to 25, with installations and photography by local artists, DJ sets and a program directed by the Barcelona artist Daniel 2000. On Oct. 24, Spotify hosts Copa de Golf, a night of music, football and fashion headlined by a DJ set from Yung Taco, and the shirt arrives in Konami’s eFootball on Oct. 23, per FC Barcelona.

Tyler joins a list that reads like a festival bill: Drake, Rosalía, the Rolling Stones, Karol G, Coldplay, Travis Scott, Ed Sheeran and Olivia Rodrigo, according to Inside World Football. He has been out in the fashion world lately too, back on a front row at Bottega Veneta in September. Nike says the collection is built around a single idea: “It means more than just fútbol.”
His next big date is closer to home. Tyler curates and headlines Camp Flog Gnaw at Dodger Stadium on Nov. 14 and 15.
