Travis Scott made Oakley part of his Circus Maximus look. Now he’s redesigning the brand. On Thursday (Sept. 24), Cactus Jack and Oakley unveiled Chapter 001, Scott’s first collection as the brand’s Chief Visionary, Complex reports. A wider rollout followed a day later.

It’s a short, sharp edit: three existing Oakley silhouettes, the Plantaris, the Straight Jacket 99 and the Eye Jacket Redux, each in one of two Cactus Jack colorways, CJ Matte Mesquite and CJ Black Ink. All three carry Oakley’s Prizm Snow Black lenses, and each pair ships in a custom Cactus Jack micro bag and case, per FashionUnited.

The campaign was made with Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn and stars Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson, FashionUnited says. It’s built from close-up portraits, coordinate-style graphics and each frame’s product code. Jefferson wasn’t in the May campaign that Complex says starred Tom Brady, Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and a roster of other NFL names, so this is his first turn with Cactus Jack.

Scott’s case for the job is his stage wardrobe. He wore Oakley at every stop of the Circus Maximus tour, Complex notes, cycling through old, new and unreleased frames, and his stage wardrobe included custom Oakley pieces, among them a moto-style harness and a leather belt. For his Tottenham stadium show in London he wore custom Oakley armor from Paris designer Courtney McWilliams.

The bench has grown since June 2025, when Oakley gave him the title in a multi-year deal. In March, Scott brought in former Givenchy creative director Matthew M. Williams, who founded 1017 ALYX 9SM, to lead apparel, footwear and accessories. “Matthew and I connect on process,” Scott said, per Complex.

He has also been teasing the shades in public. At the Champions League final in Budapest in May, he wore an unreleased pair in the stands. He told Arsenal legend Thierry Henry the red device clipped to his outfit was there to keep his new album safe.

Chapter 001 is billed as a limited release, and Scott has said from the start that it’s only the first step.

This is just the beginning.
