LISA is about to have the busiest six weeks of her solo career. Her documentary, Always Lalisa, opens in IMAX and cinemas worldwide on Oct. 12. Her EP Press Play follows on Oct. 23. And in November she plays Viva La Lisa at Caesars Palace, which her team bills as the first Las Vegas residency by a K-pop artist. Here’s how it fits together.
What is Always Lalisa?
Sue Kim’s film follows LISA through the year she stepped away from BLACKPINK and built a solo career: her debut album, her own artist-management company, an acting debut in The White Lotus and the run-up to Coachella. It premiered at TIFF on Sept. 11, opens for a limited theatrical run on Oct. 12 and will stream on YouTube Premium afterward, Variety reports. Sony Music Vision produced it with RCA Records and Tremolo Productions, in association with Salt Water Productions and LISA’s company, LLOUD Co.
She told Billboard Canada the film wasn’t the plan at first:
It started during my break, just filming for an archive. But as the days passed, I started to feel like it was about time to tell the world a little about my story. I felt like it could inspire some of the young girls out there that have the same dream as me.

What’s on Press Play?
Six songs, out Oct. 23 through LLOUD Co. and RCA Records, and the lead single tells you where her head is. “SaWaDiKa” takes its name from the Thai greeting, comes from producers Thom Bridges and Ojivolta, and marks a return to her rap roots, Complex writes. Its Bangkok-shot video, full of Muay Thai references and tuk-tuks, drew 70.8 million YouTube views in its first 24 hours, and the song debuted at No. 69 on the Hot 100.
On The Tonight Show in September, she told Jimmy Fallon that track four is the next single, and that it starts with the letter T. She described the EP like this, per Billboard:
This EP is about my journey from my roots to where I am right now today. There’s a lot of Thai elements in the songs as well, in the EP. And every single song has their own character, their own vibe and we combine it together. It’s like a movie. So you just press play.

What happens in Vegas?
Viva La Lisa was announced in March as four shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. When those sold out in under 10 minutes, she added two more, so it now runs Nov. 12–14 and Nov. 27–29, Billboard reports. She warmed up at the VMAs on Sept. 27, where she won Best Pop for “Dream” and gave “SaWaDiKa” its first TV performance, finishing on top of a life-size tuk-tuk. “All those late-night dreams brought me here today, so thank you for the inspiration, especially to my Lilies,” she said onstage.
Why are Nike, Meta and PlayStation all calling?
Because LISA is now a brand, and she runs the company behind it. In 2026 alone she signed a long-term Nike deal in January and fronts the relaunch of the Nike Moon Shoe, a runner first prototyped in 1971, which returned on Oct. 1 with her as the face of the campaign. She is creative director of Meta Glasses by LISA, two frames for her two sides: the laid-back Adventurer and the onstage Capri cat-eye. The star on the temples comes from her debut album, Alter Ego, she told Hypebeast:
I don’t think you have to pick just one version of yourself, so the star became my way of saying all of them can exist at once.

There’s also a limited-edition PlayStation DualSense controller with her bangs and eyes on the touchpad, out Oct. 30. “Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax,” she said in a statement, per Hypebeast. And at ComplexCon on Oct. 3 and 4, LLOUD debuted a capsule with Von Dutch Hollywood.
