Lambrini Girls like to start the year with a full-length, and 2027 is no exception. On Tuesday (Sept. 15), the Brighton punk duo announced No Refunds, their second album, due Jan. 15, 2027 via City Slang, and shared its latest single, “Bang Bang Bang.”

Singer-guitarist Phoebe Lunny says the song is about “a man who has been revered as a Christ-like figure but also as the devil,” per Rolling Stone. The Harv Frost-directed video, which Pitchfork calls shadowy, puts Lunny and bassist Selin Macieira in a sweaty basement.

A darker record

Pitchfork says No Refunds is billed as darker and more radical than 2025’s Who Let the Dogs Out?. Across 11 tracks, including the March single “Cult of Celebrity,” Lunny and Macieira take on AI, genocide and the manosphere, and the tracklist reads like a statement of purpose: “Truth to Power,” “White Man’s World,” “Gaza Beach,” “Wake Up!” and “Is This AI?” Rolling Stone points out that the debut was already plenty political, and the new titles hint at which issues they’ll tackle next.

Why it matters

Lambrini Girls have become one of the loudest young voices in British punk on the back of a debut that Pitchfork ranked No. 29 on its list of the 30 best rock albums of 2025. The new album arrives on City Slang, and this fall they open for Bikini Kill on select U.S. dates, starting Sept. 25 at Brooklyn Steel.

What’s next

After the U.S. run, which includes stops in Indianapolis, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, Asheville and Los Angeles through Oct. 9, the band takes the winter off before a headline tour of the U.K. and Europe from March to June 2027, including London’s Roundhouse on March 19.
