The Oasis reunion film gets an extended cut at home. From Oct. 9, Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger streams on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the U.S., with bonus content that was not in the cinema version, The Hollywood Reporter notes.
The extras are the draw. Time Out reports that the streaming release includes never-before-seen material from the Gallaghers’ joint interview, complete performances of “Wonderwall” and “Slide Away,” and first-time inclusions of “Half the World Away” and “D’You Know What I Mean?” The film covers the band’s Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour, and its official synopsis promises rehearsal, backstage and onstage access plus the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam in over 20 years.

Steven Knight, the Peaky Blinders creator, wrote it, and Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace directed it. Magna Studios produced it, Variety reports, and Disney+ EMEA commissioned it. Disney+ EMEA’s head of content, Angela Jain, framed the release this way:
The Oasis reunion has been one of our defining cultural moments of recent times.

The film has a loud history already. It had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, Sept. 5, where, Variety reported, it drew an eight-minute standing ovation. Liam and Noel held hands and raised them overhead, and Noel appeared to wipe away tears. It reached cinemas in September. The 2025 reunion tour it documents was the first time the brothers had played together since 2009. Watch the trailer below.
Timing helps. The documentary arrives in the same fortnight that SNL UK turned the band into Russian spies in a sketch with Andy Burnham. And the Gallaghers have not exactly ruled out more shows. In a Talksport interview that Variety cited in September, Noel said: “Let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”
