Kid Cudi’s newest release is a room. On Tuesday (March 10), he launched his own Twitch channel and skipped the usual hello, opening with a live studio session so viewers could watch songs get made in real time.
According to a press release viewed by Complex, Cudi “plans to stream consistently” as he gets ready for the Rebel Ragers tour, which kicks off April 28 in Phoenix. The 30-city run is set to bring out M.I.A., Big Boi, A-Trak, me n ü and longtime collaborator Dot Da Genius on its way to a June 27 finale in Chula Vista, with stops in Atlanta, Los Angeles and Toronto.
What he said
Cudi explained the channel on Instagram, framing it as a fan’s wish come true. “I’ve always dreamed of being a fly on the wall in some of my favorite artists’ sessions,” he wrote. “Who knows what we’ll make, who knows who will show up, get ready. U just got a ticket into my world. Welcome.”

The unpredictability is the pitch: songs taking shape on camera, surprise guests wandering into the studio, or just Cudi trying things out. Twitch is a natural home for it, a platform built around watching someone work rather than watching a finished product, the same pull that keeps streamers like Kai Cenat at the center of the internet.
Why it matters
The channel is the latest lane in a year of side doors for Cudi. Earlier in 2026, he revealed he’d done stand-up for the first time at Mi’s Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica, writing that it was “ELECTRIC” and that hearing the crowd laugh “really touched my heart.” Days later he announced Echoes of the Past, a documentary about his turn to painting.
It also lands after a stretch where he seemed to be stepping back from his own releases. In September, he put “Once” on SoundCloud as a standalone song and called it a “goodbye for now” track, saying he’d be featured on friends’ albums but needed to focus on other dreams. A Twitch channel that turns studio time into a live event reads as the opposite of a hiatus: the same artist, with the doors open.
For fans, the next test is the tour. Cudi’s streams are expected to keep coming as April 28 in Phoenix gets closer, so the channel doubles as a countdown, one session at a time.
